Grant Management shows support for Disability Snowsport UK
March 14, 2008
Leading UK property investment and letting company, Grant Management, this week sponsored a fundraising event organised by Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) with the help of a survivor from London’s July 7 bombings.
The charity aims to help those disabled by improving their enjoyment and standard of performance in snowsports at the level of their choice. Its ambassador is 32-year old Susan Harrison from London who had her leg amputated following the terrorist attacks in 2005.
“DSUK is a fantastic charity that does a lot of good work to ensure individuals have equal access and opportunities on the slopes. As a keen skier this charity struck a chord with me and my family and we are delighted that Grant Management is able to support it,” said Colette Grant, director and co-founder of Grant Management.
DSUK, which is located close to Aviemore at the ski centre on Cairngorm Mountain, has been providing services for disabled people since 1976 with activities taking place in the UK, Europe and North America. Alongside providing recreational activities, DSUK also run the British Adaptive Ski Team.
